Police are being investigated over the death of a woman who was killed by a storm-damaged tree.
She was hit on Kensington Road, West London, on Tuesday at around 11.30am.
Half an hour before, officers had placed vehicle cordons around the scene but pedestrians were still able to get access.
High winds - the fallout from Hurricane Gonzalo - caused a supporting wall to collapse and the tree slipped further, trapping the woman.
Detectives want anyone with mobile phone footage of the incident to come forward.
The woman's next of kin has been informed but police say a formal identification and post-mortem examination are still to take place.
Metropolitan Police said the Major Crime Unit was reviewing the death, while the Independent Police Complaints Commission has also been contacted.

"There were many people in the area at the time and these witnesses could hold key information."
Anyone with information is asked to call the police non-emergency line on 101.
